Solar Energy Project Financing
FLS Energy’s solar energy systems protect businesses from the dramatic increases in utility and fuel expenses that have become common today. Through financing and assistance with obtaining tax credits and other incentives, FLS Energy makes it easy for businesses to play a leadership role in promoting a clean and green economy.
Solar Energy Tax Credits and Incentives
Federal and state tax credits and grants provide significant incentives to develop solar energy systems. With the current Federal Renewable Energy Grant, an FLS Energy client can save up to 30% on a solar energy system. Many states also provide credits and grants, but they vary in the savings amounts. The FLS Energy team is dedicated to finding all the credits and incentives available to each of our clients. To find more information on tax credits and incentives, visit our Resources Page.
In some cases, organizations may not have the type of tax liabilities that are off-set by solar tax credits and therefore cannot realize the financial benefit from the credits if they purchase the equipment themselves.
Even businesses that can take advantages of the tax credit often do not want to pay the upfront cost to install solar. FLS Energy can assist these types of clients through our Solar Energy Purchase Agreement financing program.
Solar Energy System Financing
FLS Energy’s Solar Energy Purchase Agreement financing program enables businesses and organizations to access solar energy for their facilities with low up-front or no up-front cost and immediately reduce their energy costs by 10%- 75% . By using our Solar Energy Purchase Agreement (SEPA) model, FLS Energy owns the solar energy facility and claims the tax credits, while our SEPA clients simply pay for the solar energy service at a rate competitive with or less than fossil-fuel energy.
